The Black Dahlia
The Black Dahlia had a liquid plot, that did somewhat twist around like a classic “thriller”, leaving enough loose-ends to keep it interesting and believable. I’m not a fan of Josh Hartnett but this was his best acting job so far, IMHO. Hilary Swank isn’t attractive to me, but she played a pampered psycho well. Scarlett Johansson was yummy. The smoking throughout this movie was quite vile. I know it was a period-movie, and that it acurately reflected the period. I just hate smoking and it turned me off frequently.
