Transformers
Wow. Michael Bay did an exceptional job with Transformers. Shia LaBeouf (who was the comic relief in Constantine) did a great “lead” role, the FX were second-to-none, the action was great, the plot was … well … ok that was a little weak, but the execution of the plot was very well done. There were some flubs: mainly places where a character said “it’s an X” when what we were seeing were Y’s … Where X = Air Force One (a Boeing 747) and Y = C135, X = F-22 and Y= F16, X=Predator and Y=Global Hawk, etc. But hey! 
Great job, and a well deserved homage to the real deal. My only unwavering criticism is that there weren’t enough robots. For the sequel, I want dozens.
