The Social Networking Disease
Frequently, I’m chided for my lack of MySpaceness, or FaceBooking. I am “on” those attention-whorish sites so that when someone sends me a link to a photo they took, etc, I can actually see it: But I don’t “do” what I’m supposed to. I don’t “friend” people. I don’t download obnoxious “themes” from the bajillions of sites that make impression money off of duped users trusting their chartreuse and purple-laden code to not insert bad things, and I sure as hell don’t rank people.
I graduated from high school. That was the end of cliques, attention whores, and “unfriending” for me.
