Bald Eagle Hunting - 8.16.02

As always, "hunting" is done with a camera, and not with a gun. Great day. This yearling bald eagle chick is still new to soaring (I witnessed a number of "trips" and "stumbles" and landings are far from perfect, but s/he's beautiful. No sign of the parents today, although *my* parents saw them last weekend. I was in the kayak, so quality varies with the current. My focus was also a hair off- Apologies. I'll get more soon.
