Features
True Drag-and-Drop support allows you to drag 1 to 65535 graphic files onto a running instance of Matt View, and the program will spawn copies of itself to deal with each graphic you dropped. If only one file is dropped, the current instance of Matt View is updated. NOTE: This DOES depend on how much RAM memory you have available!
Right-click clipboard copying support allows you to copy ANY graphic displayed in Matt View to the Windows clipboard, by merely right-clicking on the picture. You can then paste this image into any program that supports graphics pasting REGARDLESS OF FORMAT!
Drag-on-Program support allows you to drag-and-drop a single graphic file onto the Matt View program or shortcut, and Matt View will open and display the graphic.
Command-line support allows you to call Matt View from any program or the command line by executing the program with the name of the graphic file after it (eg 'c:\program files\mattview\mattview.exe c:\windows\desktop\myfavoritepicture.jpg').
Dynamic Install Program allows you to easily install Matt View.
Windows Association support allows you to associate Matt View supported graphics formats with Matt View, so double-clicking on the graphic file will cause it to be opened in Matt View. Most popular formats associated automatically by the installer!
Small disk footprint- 36k program with 1mb shared support .DLL (usually already installed).
Small memory footprint- When running, Matt View takes about 40k + the uncompressed size of the image you are displaying. Arguably one of the most memory-efficient graphic viewers available!
- Windows ME and 2000 Support requires at least MattView version 3.1.0.1
Download
- Windows .MSI ~1MB
- Non-MSI installer (Zipped) ~3.8MB
If you don't know which installer you "need" (you've never installed a file with a .MSI extension before), here's a pretty good bet- If you're running Windows ME or 2000 (or newer), you can definitely use the .MSI. If you're running an older version of Windows and not using Internet Explorer 5 or newer, chances are your computer can't recognize .MSI files. The "Non-MSI Installer" contains a "setup.exe" file, that when run will install NOT ONLY MattView, but also .MSI support so you never have to wonder again. If in doubt, take the fat version.
